original MK3 Cooper wide slat grille, also fitted to the later 1990 on Cooper Minis but later cars had a full top slat because an internal cabin bonnet release was fitted. Beware of frail copies of these grilles which have poor quality slats which are forced on for riveting and when a rivet pops out the slat sticks straight out as it is poorly formed and shaped.Believe it or not they are sold at the same price as ours.
