Fitted to almost all models and all models can accept them (australian released cars)These are a comman starting problem on mini's, a simple test will find out if you need one or not, these either work or do not.

TEST:

Bridge the main power terminal and the small white/red whire with a screwdriver (with car out of gear and handbrake on and ignition off), if car turns over then replace the solenoid, if it still doesnt crank over then bridge the two main terminals, if it cranks replace solenoid, if it still wont crank over- the starter motor is at fault or another fault.*
