14A6860- GEAR LEVER GAITER MAGIC WAND TYPE The first Minis had a very simple gear-change; the lever exits the transmission directly thru the floor, well forward. This requires a special boot to accommodate the curves in the floor and tunnel, and being rubber it eventually cracks with age and flexing.
