sand cast in aluminium alloy L155, high strength alloy with good ductility, lightweight: half the weight of a standard steel arm and is suited to light road use, rallying, sprint, hill climb and heavy circuit use, compatible with either conventional rubber cone or coil over suspension systems, choice of standard 3/8 dia or 1/2 dia stub axles for coil over damper application.

K.A.D. 6-pot big brake kit
1012140 KAD Mini 6 pot Big Disc kitFor 13” wheels where a no compromise front brake setup is required our big disc conversion can be used. This combines our one piece Type B 6 pot caliper with a 265x18mm vented disc with separate alloy mounting bell. Supplied with fast road pads and front braided brake lines. This is a competition oriented brake upgrade as the calipers are not fitted with dust seals.

K.A.D. Rear disc-brake conversion
Rear disc brake conversion with an effective mechanical handbrake to replace the standard drum brakes at the rear. The rationale was never to increase braking effort at the rear of the car but to reduce weight. Even with alloy wheel hubs and alloy wheel cylinders, drum brakes cannot be reduced below 4.6kgs on a cost effective basis due to the weight of steel in items such as the brake shoes, mechanism and backplates.
Available in selected colours (GOLD,RED,BLUE) we only have limited colours available, ask if u require a specific colour.

K.A.D mini 6-pot calipers
The type A calipers are CNC machined from single billet of 2014A T6 aluminium alloy, the one piece design minimises caliper body deflection and the thin section bridging the disc allow bigger disc to be fitted under given wheel rim size. The calipers are radial mounting which allows one caliper version to fit discs from 7.9-8.4" diameter, widths 10-20mm. Differentially sized thin wall stainless steel pistons are used to reduce uneven wear of the brake pads
