There are three main areas of clutch, hydraulic/lever/internal:

  • Hydraulic is from the pedal to the slave cylinder,
  • Lever is from the slave to the thrust bearing
  • Internal is the clutch plate/diaphragm and any primary gear play you may have.

This is the carrier that holds the clutch release bearing (thrust) and on the other end has a hole for the clutch lever arm.

The push rod on your clutch arm held in by clevis pin CLZ518 that goes into the slave cylinder.

Check the eyepiece for wear as this is normally where the problems with the push rod arm.

When working on your clutch always check this little fellow out that sits in the top of the clutch arm and remember to fit the split pin. The pin is 5/16" size

22G2613- RINGEAR THIN FOR INERTIA STARTERS (NOT PRE ENGAGED TYPES)

The thin ringer is for old type inertia type starters and used on lightened steel flywheel C-AEG619 and C-AEG421.

Originally fitted to automatic cars and old cast flywheels when lightened by various tuning shops in the 79s and 80s which is not recommended for competition

BHA4661- MASTER CYLINDER EXTENSION SLEEVE

This age-old accessory screws onto the master cylinder in place of the cap, effectively increasing fluid capacity by about 20%. With the demise of the tall reservoir "S" master cylinder, this is the only way to regain that safety margin of a little more fluid!
